Belgrave Hall in Leicester was constructed in 1709 for Edmund Cradock, a hosiery merchant. It was given to the Council in 1936 and opened as a museum. Alfred Godwin Geeson (1898-1955) trained as an architect at the City of Leicester School of Arts and Crafts between 1919 and 1924.
